In response to the U.S. Economic Development Administration’s Build Back Better Regional Challenge (BBBRC), the Greater Phoenix Economic Council (GPEC) formed a coalition of 18 public and private-sector organizations, nonprofits, and educational institutions from across the Phoenix region’s burgeoning healthcare and technology ecosystems. The group put forth a competitive proposal to drive growth through the advancement of a healthcare innovation economy.
In 2021, the coalition received a $500,000 award as a finalist of the challenge, collaborating on how to foster stronger connections between healthcare and technology companies, education and training providers, entrepreneurs, and investors to grow an equitable, competitive and productive healthcare technology cluster.
The New Healthcare Innovation Economy Symposium is an opportunity to continue these important discussions on creating the conditions necessary to activate cross-sector collaborations, support the emergence of new technologies, catalyze new private investments and growth of business and sustain equitable growth.
Please join us for this special program featuring coalition members and ecosystem leaders who will share their insights on the future of Phoenix’s healthcare innovation economy.
